Product Overview

This is a very docile breed with a black laced silver appearance to its plumage with a dark black tail feather. They have a vibrant red rose comb and wattles that pop. They sometimes go broody and when they do, these hens make good mothers. A fine bird for confinement or for free range. Recognized to APA standards of perfection in the 1800’s. These fowl originated in NY State and are named for the indigenous Wyandotte people. They have a good temperament. Hens lay medium brown eggs in excess of 200 a year.
