Cayuga Ducks are primarily used for egg production and exhibition. They are a docile bird that lay a good amount of large to extra-large black to white eggs per year. Drakes generally weigh 8lbs and hens 7lbs. The breed originated in the United States and are APA recognized. Cayuga Ducks tend to go broody.
