Muscovy Ducklings Special

Apart from their egg-laying prowess, Muscovies are renowned for their meat quality. Being 98% fat-free, their meat is the leanest among duck breeds, with males potentially reaching 15 pounds and females averaging around 8 pounds. This aspect, coupled with their excellent foraging ability, makes them a sustainable choice for meat production. Unique to their species, Muscovies do not quack loudly, a trait that’s advantageous for keeping neighborhood peace. They are the only domestic duck breed not derived from the Mallard, setting them apart genetically. Their nesting habits are also unique, preferring trees over ground nests, which enhances their protection from predators.
